Olympus Collection is a massive library of 30,000+ samples, a complete choir of full, even baritones. Olympus uses the Gemini Arpeggiator, one of our best Arpeggiators. The Gemini is designed to work incredibly fast and easily with our libraries. The second Arpeggiator in Olympus Collection is the Qubit, a high-end, professional arpeggiator. The Gemini or Qubit are both MIDI Arpeggiator controlled arpeggiators and can be used with a MIDI keyboard. Any instrument with a MIDI output or effects processor will also work, including our own Ink&Lace 1 and analog synths, guitars and keyboard instruments.
One of the differences between Olympus and other choir libraries is our use of multiple apertures instead of single-timbral sampling. This diversity is beneficial, especially for the soprano and alto voices. Each voice in the Olympus Collection is subdivided into two separate Autowaves (one for each of the two equal parts of the voice, for example: [soprano], [alto] [soprano/alto] [alto/soprano]). The third wave is filled in with Mixture Waves. The advantage of Autowaves is that each wave is its own independent instrument. The third Wave acts as a synth wave, making the final timbral sound more realistic.
Note: Olympus is a very rich library for the full range, and not as broad for the mid-range and sopranos. The full-range voices tend to sound more rounded in the lowest and highest notes, but Olympus has room for any vocal range. All of the Olympus voices can be flipped, reversed or transposed up to one full step.
This bundle is one of the few available with an extensive range of Andes legato samples. Andes can be played up to seven steps apart, which is the highest number of steps we have in a normal choirs library. The diversity of the range allows for playing multiple measures of Andes at one time. d2c66b5586
